Chevrolet knows a robust EV infrastructure is a requirement for EV ownership. We continue to build technology throughout Canada and the U.S. and are passionate about creating a charging ecosystem to ensure charging is available when you need it, where you need it.

How to Charge in Public

While most EV owners do the majority of their charging at home, visiting a public charging station is an important part of living electric. Charging on the go can be just as easy as charging at home when you use the myChevrolet mobile app to find your range, plan your route, and locate charging stations along the way.

Types of Public Charging

All Chevrolet EVs can be charged using Level 1 chargers, Level 2 chargers (the same as home chargers), and Level 3 chargers – DC fast public charging.  Accelerated DC fast charging means less time spent waiting to get back on the road. Actual charge times and charging capability will vary by vehicle model and charger. Check your Owner's Manual for more information.
