If your vehicle is equipped with Bluetooth®† , you have access to the contacts stored in your phone’s contact list when your phone is paired to your vehicle’s infotainment system or when you are using Phone Integration (Apple CarPlay®† or Android Auto™† compatibility).

Downloading Contacts

Pair your phone with the infotainment system via Bluetooth. Bluetooth Pairing Instructions

  • For Apple®† devices, your contact list downloads and synchronizes automatically each time you turn on your vehicle.
  • For Android™† devices, you will be asked for permission to access contacts before they can be downloaded.

Note: To protect user privacy, the contacts information is only available when your phone is connected and selected as the in-use device.

Integrating Contacts

Connect your phone with a USB cable (or pair your phone via Bluetooth to initiate a wireless connection, if your vehicle is capable) and activate Phone Integration to access — but not download — your phone’s contact list.

Note:

  • You can access your contacts with voice command in the vehicle if your vehicle and phone are equipped with voice-command features
  • If using Apple CarPlay®, access Apple Siri® voice-command features by pressing the vehicle’s Push-to-Talk button

Q&As

How do I save a phone contact as a favourite?

The process for saving a favourite contact depends on your vehicle. On some models, you can touch the Star icon behind the phone number in your contacts list. On other models, you can press and hold an empty favourite space in the bar at the top of the screen.
