To operate:

  1. Press the desired button to turn the feature on. It will automatically go to the highest setting.
  2. Indicator lights next to the buttons indicate three for the highest setting and one for the lowest. Subsequent button pushes will move to the next lower setting until the seat turns off.
  3. If the front heated seats are on high, the level may automatically lower after approximately 30 minutes.

Note: Some vehicles are equipped with an Automatic Heated/Ventilated/Cooled Seat feature that automatically controls seat heating and ventilation based on interior temperature. This feature is adjusted in Settings.

Q&As

What happens if the vehicle is in remote start, heated seats are on and then the ignition is turned on?

If Automatic Heated/Ventilated/Cooled Seats are available for the vehicle, the seat transitions from its remote-start level to the ignition-on seat level. Since conditions for both features vary, a different seat level might be applied. If Automatic Heated/Ventilated/Cooled Seats are not available when the ignition is on, the seats will turn off.

What happens if the vehicle is not in remote start and the ignition is turned on?

If Automatic Heated/Ventilated/Cooled Seats are available for the vehicle and enabled, the seats will be triggered based on the automatic heated and cooled seats’ ignition-on seat level.

If the passenger seat is empty, will it still heat or ventilate?

If Automatic Heated/Ventilated/Cooled Seats are available for the vehicle and enabled, no.
